Neuroaffective Somatics

Neuroaffective Somatics is a fascia-centered approach to nervous system coherence informed by fascia science, affective neuroscience, and Chinese medicine. This work prioritizes orientation and resonance over regulation, and is designed for complexity, dissociation, and divergent nervous systems.

Rather than treating the nervous system as something to control, correct, or normalize, this framework works with structure, sensation, timing, and attention as they exist in the body. “Parts” are understood as modes of awareness that live in tissue and organization, not only in cognition or narrative.

What this work does

  • Supports nervous system coherence through fascia, orientation, and felt sense

  • Works directly with dissociation, overwhelm, and sensory complexity

  • Integrates somatic practice with clear structure and practical application

  • Respects divergence without pathologizing it

What this work does not do

  • It does not rely on regulation-based or compliance models

  • It does not require talk therapy or narrative processing

  • It does not aim to normalize or optimize the nervous system

  • It is not a diagnostic or medical treatment
