FND and Long Covid

I was partially paralyzed from the waist down in 2018/2019. Formal Diagnosis: Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). In January of 2023, I contracted Covid, and since then, I’ve noticed an uptick in neurological symptoms.

”I wonder if there’s a relationship between FND and Long Covid?” YES. Yes there is. Possibly. This review looked at 102 studies comprising 400,000+ patients and found an uptick in functional neurological symptoms after a covid infection.

I was reminded of MY experience with FND and how I was partially paralyzed from the waist down when I was managing my covid infection in January
